Amazing Progress in Rusumo: Clinic Foundation Is Completed!

The community in Rusumo is making rapid progress in realizing their vision for a community health clinic. With funds collected from the community and labor organized by PICO Rwanda leaders, building on community land negotiated with government officials, the community has completed the clinic foundation. The walls are going up and construction will be finished by years’ end. It will serve 17,000 people in the Rusumo community. Training for leaders to form this powerful organization is being provided by Pr. John and veteran leaders of the Mumeya community.
