Local churches pitch in to support organizing in Rwanda
Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley, CA, hosted Pastor John Rutsindintwarane to learn about his work supporting grassroots organizing in Rwanda and across Africa. More than 100 people participated. Events included a Walk for Rwanda to raise much-needed funds. Donations make it possible to hire local residents in Rwanda as community organizers and bring people together to improve their communities and continue the process of peace and reconciliation.
Peace Lutheran is a great model for how faith communities can take local action to support global organizing. Join us in building bridges of support and compassion between people of faith worldwide.
