Jaquilisco residents fix even more roads

Residents from the village of Puerto Avalos in Jaquilisco got tired of the false promises by their mayor to fix the main street in their town and decided to take action on their own. Through their own donations and labor, they paved 800 meters toward a goal of finishing 3.7 kilometers. This road leads to an important fishing tourist area, but is nearly impassable during the rainy season. COFOA will begin leadership training in September for residents of this town in the Usulutan Department.
