Support for fair judicial elections in Guatemala

The Root Causes Initiative, a network of faith-based and grassroots organizations across Central America, Mexico, and the U.S., released a sign-on letter to support the Guatemalan people’s fight against corruption and impunity, two of the main underlying factors of forced migration. The letter, signed by nearly 250 organizations and individuals, calls on national and international actors to protect transparency and oversight during the ongoing elections for Guatemala’s highest courts.
