For those unable to join our end of year Zoom call celebration in December, here is a short video that highlights some of the leaders and their 2024 achievements. We were delighted that Cardinal Michael Czerny, SJ, a key advisor to Pope Francis, joined us. As a leading voice on climate, immigration and human rights, Cardinal Czerny encouraged us not to wait for the church, but to do what we know how to do: engage people where they are and invite them into the work for justice.
As a final note on 2024, we are pleased to share that because of last minute donations, we got close to our end of the year fundraising goal. Thanks to 305 donors, we raised $197,683, which was generously matched by our good friends John and Sue Sobrato.
