Leaders Secure Commitment for Funds to Bring Water to Mumeya

At the urging of Mumeya leaders, Sano James, Director General for Ministry of Energy, Water and Resources, approved funding to bring water to the Mumeya clinic and surrounding villages. People from the five villages surrounding Mumeya have pledged labor and funds for this project. Government funding will go for technicians and materials. Leaders await a final request for the funds to come from the Mayor of the Kirehe District.
