MERRY CHRISTMAS
Dear Friends,
At Christmas time, many of us tell children the story of Jesus’ birth – the gift of God’s love in a troubled world. This Christmas, we give thanks for the faithful PICO International leaders who are not only telling the Christmas story to their children, but also giving the gift of God’s love through their actions.
In El Salvador, the children in San Marcos Lempa proudly watched their parents fight this year for a bridge across Rio Roldan so they can get to the doctor or market. In Rwanda, children in Mumeya rejoice that their parents brought water to their village this year so they don’t have to walk hours each day to fetch it. In Haiti, the children of Caracol know their parents’ love in the safety of their afterschool center.
We also give special thanks for you and the hundreds of faithful people like you who continue to tell the story of God’s love with the gift of your support; your prayers; and financial contributions for this work.
THANK YOU AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!
John Baumann, SJ and all the PICO International staff in El Salvador, Rwanda, Haiti and the United States.
