Nyange Women Cooperative Complete House for Dorsella
The human heart has an amazing capacity for compassion. This is the home the villagers of Nyange built for Dorocella, a strong, resilient woman. In spite of being HIV+ and widowed, Dorocella attended a training at to learn tile making. She returned to her village and shared her new skills with other women, teaching them how to make roof tiles. The villagers showed their gratitude by working together to build the first house for Dorocella. She is pictured here in front of her new home with a card from the Donor Circle in Chicago that supports the organizing in Nyange.
