Practicing democracy in El Salvador

This year, Transito and COFOA leaders led the fight to advance national legislation to clear titles on properties that were resettled after the war. They have won the support of mayors and legislators. Next year 100 families from La Galilea will have clear deeds on their homes worth $1.6 million.
