COFOA brings the voice of ordinary people to this movement
COFOA is bringing the voice of ordinary people into this countrywide movement. COFOA leader, Ana Cecelia Ortiz, spoke at the national press conference, “We have not had water for three months, but we still have to pay the bills. When it rains, I use rainwater but my children are getting sick. Political leaders are doing nothing.” COFOA has organized a listening campaign where people in churches and communities across the La Paz Department gather in small groups to share their experience. There is a rising recognition that nothing will change unless people organize as Bishop Romero instructed. Won’t you support these efforts?
