COFOA leaders in Soyopango choose water as their most urgent need
El Salvador: COFOA leaders in Soyopango choose water as their most urgent need. More than 75 leaders from three neighborhoods gathered at St. Francis Assisi Parish to prioritize the issues they heard from hundreds of households in Soypango. One leader, Juan Beltran did more than 100 visits. While violence is a major concern, leaders determined taking on the issue of water would be the most unifying issue. Most families get water service only one or two days each week.
