COFOA seminars are furthering the social ministries of 8 parishes in La Paz
More than 30 leaders are attending weekly seminars designed to build leadership teams that will be responsible for leading social justice efforts in 8 parishes in Zacetucoluca Diocese. The sessions are designed to explore psychological, social and political aspects of Catholic ministry. In addition to COFOA staff providing organizing training, Fr. William Menjivar pastor at San Juan Talpa is leading discussions of the psychology of social engagement. Fr.Rafael Ulises Hernández from the San Salvador University is teaches the history of political engagement in El Salvador. After 15 sessions, leaders will be equipped to lead organizing efforts in their local parishes.
