PICO RWANDA: 2016 HIGHLIGHTS – RUSUMO

Rusumo is the newest member of the PICO-Rwanda family. A year ago, leaders were just clearing the ground for their health clinic. By year’s end, it was completed through the generous support of the Taggart family and thousands of hours of donated labor. Catholic, Muslim, and Adventist leaders united to overcome government resistance and ousted local representatives. Officials now promise to have equipment and staff in place before the clinic dedication in March, 2017.
