Rwanda: Growing from the ground up
Last month the 56 leaders from the communities of Mumeya, Cyiha, Curazo, Cunuzi and Rwabutazj met to develop a strategy to establish leadership teams in each of these villages. They plan to implement the PICO Rwanda model of organizing and made written commitments to conduct face to face visits with 1268 families and learn about village priorities. This effort is supported by local Adventist, Catholic, Anglican and Pentecostal churches. With your continuing support, PICO Rwanda efforts to develop the roadside market in Nyange and the farmers’ cooperative in Mumeya are underway. Leaders from across Rwanda will gather in December to report on progress and plan their coming year.
